| John Prior, Principal |
The principal of Prior
& Associates has over 25 years experience in the private, public and
nonprofit sectors. He oversees all company projects. John has directed
over 1,000 market studies for affordable housing projects for real estate
developers, investors, housing authorities and government agencies in
urban, suburban and rural areas throughout the United States. Before establishing
the company, John was a principal with Community Sciences Corporation,
a full service planning, civil engineering and surveying company in Corrales,
New Mexico, and a program manager for the New York State Division of Housing
and Community Renewal. John has a master’s degree in urban planning
from Rutgers University. He is a founding member of the National Council
of Affordable Market Analysts. |
Julie
Hittle, Project Manager |
Julie has six
years of housing market research experience, has conducted field research
and prepared market analyses for housing projects, including SROs, assisted
living facilities, and farm worker housing projects. Previously, Julie
analyzed demographic trends as a research fellow at the American University
and evaluated community-based programs for the Children’s Defense
Fund. Julie has a master’s degree in public administration from
the American University. |
Thad
Rhan,Project Manager |
Thad manages field
surveys and analyzes data for the company. Before joining the firm in 2002
he was a financial analyst with the Janus Corporation. Thad has a bachelor’s
degree in economics and history from Coe College. |
Aric
Wallen, Field Analyst |
Aric has conducted
field research assignments in urban and rural areas throughout the United
States since 2001. He has over ten years experience in the real estate industry
and is currently the owner and manager of a real estate investment company.
He is also owner and managing broker for a residential real estate brokerage.
Aric has a master’s in Real Estate and Construction Management from
the University of Colorado. |
Ted Cason,
Field Analyst |
Ted has conducted
field research assignments for new construction and rehabilitation projects
in urban and rural areas throughout the United States since 2001. His fieldwork
includes age-restricted and Low Income Housing Tax Credit housing projects.
Ted has a master’s degree in English Literature from the University
of Northern Colorado. |
Jeff
Haugen, Field Analyst |
Jeff, who has
16 years of diverse market research experience, has provided field research
support to the firm since 1997. His assignments have included sites in inner
city suburban, and rural locations throughout the United States. Jeff has
a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound. |
